Our Story

hr

The Beginning

We started out as a ONE time excursion to a tournament in South Florida for the children that were deprived of the chance because of a change in affiliation of their Recreational Program. We took two independent teams to the Wellington Tournament and had a blast!

Searching For Our Style

We were asked to do another tournament with the kids the following year but since we did not have an organization to sponsor the players we created Palm Coast Soccer in order to play in tournaments. We joined USClubSoccer in order to get sanctioned as a US Soccer affiliate so we could enter other sanctioned tournaments. OK…now what! It took a few years for us to find our unique niche and seasonal time frame, but we did… and it has worked for the players, families and coaches alike!

A Great Alternative

We have come a long way from the first tournament and now we represent a wonderful alternative to Recreational Soccer and Competitive Soccer. We are the bridge between the two groups allowing recreational players who cannot afford or are not yet ready to play competitive soccer to learn and grow their skills against a higher level of competition. Our program also allows the more refined player to showcase their skills against better teams during tournament play where coaches can get a different look at them. We graduate players to competitive soccer every year. We also maintain a core of players and parents who love this style of team play where FUN is stressed more than winning at all costs.

About Us - Palm Coast Soccer

Our Approach

hr

We are a Tournament Soccer Club…that is what we do! The Club tries to  play in six or seven Tournaments per season, with each tournament consisting of a three or four game schedule. The games are usually played over the course of a weekend against recreational and competitive teams from numerous and varied locations. The exact number of games, playoff games and championship games will be determined by the bracket structure at each individual tournament, but we normally play a 21-30 game season each year.

Palm Coast Soccer Club strives to provide this Unique Soccer Tournament Experience for its players, that will leave them with lasting positive memories as well as valuable playing experience for the kids. Coaches and supporters will also enjoy, and benefit from, the team-building atmosphere as well as the value of belonging to the Palm Coast Soccer family.

Our tournament season runs from January to the end of July. During that time our goal will be to enter one tournament per month, with the exact amount of entries being determined by the scheduling of the individual tournaments. The season will usually kick off with a January Invitational Tournament and wraps up late July with the Disney 3v3 Nationals Tournament in Orlando.

Team tryouts will be offered prior to the new season in late October.  Once the fall registrations are complete and player passes have been obtained through our USCLUBSoccer affiliation program, practices will begin. Dates and times of practice schedules are Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, unless otherwise indicated.

Final determination will be made at the initial meeting with the City’s Parks and Rec Dept. and any changes will be confirmed and announced by your respective coaches prior to the first practice, as well as posted on our website…palmcoastsoccer.com.
